Yesterday’s leg workout was great. I decided to do all of my weight training this week early since I will be on vacation in ALASKA for 10 days an won’t have access to any iron.

Considering I am JUST now getting over being sore from last week’s hamstring torture….today’s GISG workout was more booty/quad focused. I added extra weight holding a 20# KB during wall sits and curtsy lunges. Wide leg squats w/ 65# barbell….Broad Jumps holding 15# KB…oh yea..putting in the work :)

I made a big mistake in taking my vitamins right before my workout. I pushed through the whole damn thing while being dizzy, sick to my stomach, and covered in a cold sweat. I had to take several breaks to get myself together. Learned that lesson the hard way.
Finished my strength circuits with several rounds of tabata sprints on the elliptical.

Well, for being a slacker earlier in the week, I more than made up for it today. I had the time and dedicated it to making up my leg day that I skipped Wednesday and combining with my shoulders/arm routine today. Not only that, but I incorporated cardio bursts after every circuit to make for a very long and sweaty workout. Hopefully Kyra will forgive me for missing 2 workouts this week!

Happy Monday!!! After a weekend of boozing and eating, I am in need of a squeaky clean eating day, lots of water, and of course a sweaty workout.
