Whimsy hasn’t jumped on my bed in months…today she decided it would be a great idea to wake me up by jumping on my head and running a few laps around me. Seems she has worn herself out…and I will take any burst of energy the 12 yr old lady can give. <3 (Taken with Instagram)

Woke up at 4:00am….stupid insomnia. I was productive and hit the trail for a 5k at 4:45 am. It was dark, silent, and scary as hell!! I def ran like someone was chasing me!!

Alarm goes off at 6am. Goal-hit the pavement by 6:30. When my alarm goes off—the horrible buzzer noises immediately make me grumpy. However, when I look at my phone it asks me “Who are you going to be today?” That’s my wake up call every morning. I don’t want to be a lazy bum sleeping in when I promised my dog I would get up and run! So, I laced up the sneaks and hit the trail for a 5K.
TIME: 35 min
DISTANCE: 5K + Cool down

milemarkersoflife asked: Awesome!!! At least you'll be used to the altitude! That's good. I actually hiked pp for the first time two weekends ago. It was hard but im glad I did it!! I live in the springs so I get to look at it everyday. :)
