Happy Friday!!! #nonscalevictory day for me. at #crossfit this morning, I did the full run with NO walking and did the rx weight for the #amrap #wod. Today’s #wod : 12 min #amrap 10 hang snatch and 10 over head squats (75/55) killed it this morning and feeling strong πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ one month in!!

Beautiful morning in my new favorite space! The patio is complete and I am getting some #mealprep done while downing a big ole smoothie. Super sore from a Saturday partner workout at #crossfit. #rise and #grind! I was up at 4am, at the box for 4:50, worked out til 6 And back home before 7. Great #crossfit class this morning. #wod was 1000 m row, 800 m run, 30 push jerks, and 15 muscle ups. I did 75# push jerks and 45 dips/45 ring rows w/ a band to modify. I felt πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ doing push jerks. I’ve been craving oatmeal like whoa. Since I am trying to keep my carbs early in the day, I decided to load up this morning! 1/3 cup oats🍲, 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 banana 🍌1 tbsp peanut butter🍯and a drizzle of sugar free maple syrup. It was πŸ’£!! I must say though…I did miss my 🍳 and I’m sure I’ll be starving πŸ™ŽπŸ˜¬ in an hour from the lack of πŸ”πŸ£πŸ₯πŸ€πŸ³πŸ—. Crossfit was hard today. People were lapping me, I was huffing and puffing, I definitely almost threw up. I was the last to finish…but I did finish. Instead of getting discouraged, I am using this as motivation! Today’s WOD: 4 rounds- 400 m run, 20 wall balls, 20 slam balls. I did modify. I used a 12 lb wall ball instead of the rx 14 lbs and used a 20 lb slam ball instead of the rx 30 lbs. I also alternated running 200 m and 400 m. I finished my workout in 27min48sec, about 2:30 behind the last person. I laid on the ground trying to catch my breath and letting it soak in….I finished my last 20 slam balls with everyone watching…not judging but cheering me on. That’s one thing I love about crossfit, it is teaching me to stop judging myself for what I can’t do…and cheering myself on through what seems impossible…pushing myself. screaming through the last rep. Day 3 of 6am #crossfit foundations. Today was a little discouraging. Pull ups, toes to bar, Etc seem impossible. Burpees are still awful. I was confident with deadlifts though. Pushing through…we all start somewhere and what’s impossible today will get easier in time.
